One of the key factors of successful therapy is the therapist- client relationship. It is in the therapeutic relationship that the healing
work can begin and where magic can happen!
This relationship is a two-way street where both the client and therapist participate in meaningful and powerful ways...

Simply put, the two participants co-create a relationship, a place of
safety, where each person has a significant role to play:
Role of the
Therapist:
To
facilitate, to be present with the client at every moment in therapy
to listen, to support, and sometimes, to challenge.
She is the catalyst
that creates new experiences for the client.
Role of the Client:
To
express him/her self, to experience feelings that may sometimes be
painful, to allow for him/her self to be held
and supported by the
therapist. |
